1. • 1st Birthday Truck Party

   • My son’s first birthday was simple.  We had trucks scattered around the house holding balloons.  We had mostly family members because if we added anyone else, my house would have fallen apart.  I decorated his cake with his favorite small truck toys and graham cracker crumbs for dirt.  I bought him a first birthday bib from Babies R Us.  I left a table out for the older kids to decorate a large sheet of white wrapping paper.  I added a jar of cheerios for the adults to guess the amount and gave a lottery ticket as the prize.  I left out a picture matte for everyone to sign and framed it with the picture of my son eating his first birthday cake.  I added some truck stickers to the matte before framing it.  I only served appetizers to keep cost down and to make it simple.
