1st Birthday Truck Party

My son’s first birthday was simple.  We had trucks scattered around the house holding balloons.  We had mostly family members because if we added anyone else, my house would have fallen apart.  I decorated his cake with his favorite small truck toys and graham cracker crumbs for dirt.  I bought him a first birthday bib from Babies R Us.  I left a table out for the older kids to decorate a large sheet of white wrapping paper.  I added a jar of cheerios for the adults to guess the amount and gave a lottery ticket as the prize.  I left out a picture matte for everyone to sign and framed it with the picture of my son eating his first birthday cake.  I added some truck stickers to the matte before framing it.  I only served appetizers to keep cost down and to make it simple.
