Dinner Party for Pennies

Dinner parties usually cost big bucks, right? Not this Dinner Party idea. Enjoy a tasty dinner with dessert, wine and activities for under 50 dollars.
Invitations-
Since this is a dinner party for pennies the invite should send a similar message. Consider an email invitation from the BestPartyEver.com party planning tools section or a simple phone call to inform your guests. Include time, location, and party details.Menu-
Scrumptious Chicken, rice, broccoli, Dessert Loaf.
Scrumptious Chicken-
In a slow cooker combine 6 chicken breasts, 1 and 1/2- 10oz cans of cream of mushroom soup, and 1/4 cup of white wine. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low for 8 hours.Rice-
Purchase rice and follow instructions on package.Broccoli-
Add butter or olive oil and salt and pepper to taste. Consider frozen broccoli and follow instructions on package.Dessert-
Purchase a cake loaf. Take it out of the packaging, slice and place on a decorative plate.Wine-
Many inexpensive wine options exist. Consider Charles Shaw aka 3 buck Chuck or large bottles of Yellow Tail for $12.Decorations-
Use some of your nicer dishes and cutlery. Decorate your table using objects from around your home. Adjust the lighting and choose a couple CD’s to set the mood.Activities-
