Tropical Paradise Prom

Prom is hard to plan on a tight budget so this theme is good for someone who needs easily accessible items.  My class doesnt have a lot of money so most of our decorations are borrowed.  Here are some of the things we’re using for our prom this year:
White Christmas lights hung from ceiling as stars
A brick bridge going over a “river”
Palm trees
Balloon lanterns
Fish as our centerpiece in those vases that have the plants coming out of them
Fish rock/marbles scattered around the vases
As many tropical flowers as we can borrow
A fountain
Party Favors:
Hurricane Glasses w/the theme printed on them (We had to spend for those though)
Leis
Pineapple shaped chocolates (made easily from a molds found at kitchen stores)

A sea/sky background will cover one of the walls
Any sort of tiki item will look good
The tricky part is figuring out what will go along with the theme and still look classy
