Inviting Guest s Via Phone Is The Worst!

   • This Weekend I’m throwing my husband an amazing western theme birthday party. We planned it last min. so I wasn’t able to order or create any invitations. I had the overwhelmingly task of inviting our friends and family over the phone. I started at about 3 pm. At first it was all about leaving messages and knowing just what to say when someone asks the occasional, “so, who’s going to be there.” But when it came to calling family… well leaving a message became 2 hours of catching up. I backed up on work & forgot to make dinner. When I looked up at the clock , it was 8 pm. I could not believe how many relatives I needed to catch up with before inviting them to a birthday party. *sigh… I think I might have forgotten to invite some of them, so tomorrow will be a re-call. Yeah, I know no more lollygag. Next time, I’ll just send them all e-mails. I’m always on the computer anyways.
