Theme Parties

   • I love doing theme parties. I think the hardest part is when you have a large group and everyone is so different. I think you have to really think of who you are inviting. It is not always easy to entice people with the thought of dressing up or playing a role. This is a great icebreaker and it helps give some responsibility to our guests. I’ve heard the comments “oh no not a theme party”. The best way for me to deal with this is to ignore it. Yeah I said it. It doesn’t matter how many times you try and convince someone who thinks a theme parties are horrible. They have to see for themselves. I have even had people not show up. Which is odd because I’ve never made it mandatory to follow the theme. You just may feel really left out. When they see the pictures and people talk about it. They feel very silly. I say if you are a theme person go on with it and don’t stress out too much about who just can’t make it work.
