     Using magic as a party theme is a simply “Wonder-full” approach.  Most everyone loves magic, and it appeals to our childlike sense of fun and romps in the fields of imagination.

     It also lends itself to some inspiring possibilities.

     You could decorate with wands, top hats, bunnies, and the like. Or you could take a more sophisticated, fantasy based approach and use images such as wizards, dragons, fairies, and make it more of an “enchanted evening”.

     Hiring strolling magicians, palm readers, fortune tellers, and psychics can be a great addition to the cocktail hour.  And of course you’ll want to find a really fabulous stage magician or mentalist for the after dinner entertainment.

     You can also find great magic and mystery related quotations and use them on decorations, party favors, and giveaways…  Such as this one by Albert Einstein: “The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.  It is the source of all true art and science.”

     Above all, have fun brining out the kid in yourself with wonder, imagination, and magical possibilities in the planning process, and you’re sure to do the same for all your guests at your party.
