     On February 1, two football teams will battle each other for top position in the 2009 Super Bowl XLIII extravaganza. Many onlookers will view the televised game from a friend’s Super Bowl party. If you plan to host the party, here are some ideas to make your Super Bowl party a hit.

     Decorate in team colors. Use streamers, balloons, and check out the battling teams websites. A lot of times on their website they sell quality products such as helmets. Helmets make wonderful centerpieces.

     In another room, play football movies for guests that loose interest in the game. Great movies include Rudy, Invincible, Any Given Sunday, We are the Marshalls, Remember the Titans, etc.

     As for food, keep it simple such as hamburgers, pizza, chips, sloppy joes, veggie plate, etc. No one expects you to break out the fine china. In fact, paper plates are the best.
