Who Done It? Halloween Game
The Who Done It Halloween party game takes a physical approach to the classic game Clue®. Guests at your Halloween party investigate others to determine who is the crime committing culprit. Great ice breaker.
What you will need-
Name tags
envelope
index cards
3 markers (different colors)
pencils for every player
Who Done It forms (click to download)
moderator
prizePreparation-
Make name tags for each guest. Assign a color of marker to a category. The categories are people, place, and things. Write every guests name on an individual cards using one color. If you are hosting a large party, formulate team names and write those on cards instead. Then write the rooms of your party’s location on separate cards with a different color. With the last color, write single objects on a new set of cards. On the back of each card, write the category title with the assigned color. On an envelope write “Who Done It”. Personalize and print Who Done It forms.
How to play-
Gather your guests and ask them to wear their name tag. Place the cards with the category title up. Ask a guest to choose one card from each category. Be sure that no one witnesses the reverse side of those cards. Carefully place the cards inside the envelope. Pass out the remaining cards to the guests. Like the game of Clue®, each guest tries to solve the crime. They solve the crime by asking other guests to show them one of their cards in a particular category. Conversations can only consist of two people. Each person requests a category. Then they move on to someone else. They can go back to that person at a later time. If a person asks for a category and the other person shows them the same card from a previous meeting, he or she must show them another card in that category. If they do not have another card in that category, the person asking can choose a different category. Once a person receives information they cross it off their Who Done It form. At any time, a person can go to the moderator and declare a scenario of the crime. If they are correct, they win the game. However, if they are wrong, they forfeit the game and the game continues for the other players.
