     The Great Pumpkin Race Halloween party game invites a person of any age to participate and measures the speed of its participants. This Halloween party game is best played in a large open area such as outdoors, a gymnasium, or a furniture-free indoor room.

     What you will need-

     participants
     pumpkins that the participants can carry
     tape to mark the start and finish line
     a moderator
     prizes

     How to play-

     Assign a pumpkin to each participant depending on the size of the players. Have each participant line up at the start line. Once all players are ready have the moderator yell “Go”. Each player must roll their pumpkin to the end line. Its a lot of fun to watch the different techniques that players use to roll their pumpkins.

     Variations-

     Have the players go to the finish line and come back again. Instead of rolling the pumpkin, have the participants push the pumpkin and if their pumpkin leaves the ground, they are disqualified. You may decide to have the participants decorate their race pumpkins ahead of time.
