Holiday Oyster Roast
Our party is hosted by the non-profit group AUSA and given for our Soliders and their families. The party has 6 corporate sponsors.
This outdoor Oysteer Roast is for 200 guests, with a budget of $20,000.
Catering is provided by Carolina Catering and includes local oysters, chili, and Frogmore stew. For the children, we are serving corn dogs and PB&J;.
Local band Soul Fish is performing live. Professional photos of children with Santa are provided free of charge to guests by professional photographer Damon Smith.
Each child of a US Soldier will receive a soccer ball and Transformers action figure. Also, a “Cookie Frosting Station” is available, and all children receive an apron personalized with their name and a youth size Santa Hat.
The venue is James Island County Park, which hosts a Holiday Festival of Lights. Party guests can view lights during and after the Oyster Roast.
