Pumpkin Party
This is a new tradition for my family, in October, we have a pumpkin carving party. It is always BYOP (bring your own pumpkin), we provide carving tools and decorations. It happens right in the backyard, there are usually about 30-40 regulars. This is a pumpkin specific party, and we try to avoid any halloween themes at all. We serve beef stew, fresh rolls, and a delicious mulled wine. For those of you who are not wine fans, this coud change your mind. Everyone, comes carves a pumpkin, has some beef stew, and we light a fire outside. It’s a great time for all ages, and gives you a reason to see each other before the full holiday swing. If you schedule this party well, you and your guests will have a great pumpkin to put on the front walk for Halloween.
