    • 4th of July

    • If you want this party, it is best to live near a park that has fireworks on the 4th of July. Have people come at around 5:00. Have drinks and appatizers ready on a table in your backyard (a good view of the park). Play poker and other card games. Serve the main course next. Have music playing the whole time, and get everybody dancing. Turn on a sports game on low volume (on an outdoor t.v.) and if the guests pay much attention to it, you need to spice up the party more. Don't let them do this! Get people dancing, the t.v. is just a side thing. Then when the fireworks start, cheer! Serve desert while the fireworks shoot. Laugh, talk, watch and enjoy! After the fireworks, talk and laugh some more. The party will slowly end, don't force your guests out. They'll get the hint soon enough... let them say goodbye first. On their way out, hand them a small party favor (in a small decorated bag). For example, I would take a picture of all the guests together during the middle of the party and get a close friend, or your spouse if you have one, to print the picture during the party (enough copies for each guest). Then slip each picture into a keychain sized picture frame...and WAHLAH! You made memories AND party favors. party
