New Year's Masquerade Party

In the past, on New Year’s eve, people wore masks to hide from the evil they experienced that present year. They hung mistletoe. At midnight, under the mistletoe, they exchanged a kiss to start fresh in the New Year followed by taking off their mask.
Attire- Dressy Attire
Invitation wording-
It’s a New Year’s Masquerade Party! Dress to impress on Wednesday, December 31st at 9pm. Welcome in the New Year with midnight kisses, tasty apps, and bubbly drinks. Masks provided. Bring your dancing shoes to 123 Mistletoe Lane (555) 222-1212. Please RSVP by December 23rd.Food-
