    • New Year's Masquerade Party

    • In the past, on New Year's eve, people wore masks to hide from the evil they experienced that present year. They hung mistletoe. At midnight, under the mistletoe,  they exchanged a kiss to start fresh in the New Year followed by taking off their mask.

Attire- Dressy Attire

Invitation wording- 
It's a New Year's Masquerade Party! Dress to impress on Wednesday, December 31st at 9pm.  Welcome in the New Year with midnight kisses, tasty apps, and bubbly drinks. Masks provided. Bring your dancing shoes to 123 Mistletoe Lane (555) 222-1212. Please RSVP by December 23rd.

Food- 
Serve bubbly drinks like champaign, gin and tonic, Sherbet Vodka Sprite Spritz. appetizers- shrimp, lasagna roll ups, stuffed mushrooms, cheese platers, artichoke dip
dessert- mini tarts 
Coffee

Activities- 
Let your guests choose from an assortment of masks. Allow for dancing, mingling and consider having a ball drop of your own. Include toasts for prosperity and health in the new year. 

Decorations- 
dance floor, mistletoe and large bows hanging from the ceiling, warm colors- reds, burgundies, navy blues, purples accented with golds, ivories, black or silver. Soft linens. 

Party favors- 
The masks with a personalized tag attached that includes the name of the party, the year of the party, and the host's name. 

Recommended Vendors- 
Event planner, bartenders, servers, DJ,  party supply store, caterer, professional dancers, cleaning crew party
