    • Barack Obama was born in Hawaii and frequently revisits his hometown. Celebrate and welcome in the 44th President of the United States of America with a fun filled Luau. 

Attire-  
Colorful Hawaiian attire

Invitation wording-
It's a Inauguration Luau Party! Welcome in the new President Hawaiian style on January 17th at 7pm. Enjoy Hawaiian cuisine, the best Mai Tai's in town, and watching a storyteller perform. Come dressed in Hawaiian shirts and flip flops to 123 Luau Lane. (555)222-1212. Please RSVP by January 10th. 

Food-
Choose recipes with the following ingredients for a Hawaiian flair
Sweet Potatoes, Taro Dinner Rolls, Pineapple, Macadamia Nuts, Coconut, Rice, Spam, Seafood, Pork.

Music-
Find a compilation CD of Hawaiian Luau music at your local music store or buy online.

Activities-
Enjoy a Hawaiian buffet. Watch Hawaiian dancers. Sip on tasty Mai Tai's while listening to luau music and mingling with others. 

Decorations-
Use tiki torches, grass skirts, clear christmas lights, large flowers made from tissue paper, lei's, and fun drink garnishes like parasols (mini umbrellas).
 
Party favors- 
Tropical key chains will remind your guests of the fun they had at your party.

event planners, bartenders, caterers, Hawaiian Dancers, party supply store, party rental store, cleaning crew party
