   • Grand Sleepover Bachelorette Party

     I recently went to an overnight bachelorette party held at a mansion with an indoor swimming pool near Atlanta. It was the home of the maid of honor’s parents. The invitations were sleep tee-shirts with Melanie’s photo on the front and “Melanie’s Bachelorette Bash!” They printed the date, the time, the location, bring your bathing suit and sleep tee-shirt on the back. It was a spa and pajama party for 12 of us, including Melanie. They just kept the food coming throughout the party, stuff like chicken wings, pizza, finger sandwiches, salad, lots of snacks and drinks. There really weren’t any decorations, because the house didn’t need any. They did have a beautiful cake with “Melanie’s Bachelorette Party” on it. We all went for a swim and later on we had the spa party. They hired people to give us massages, facials, manis and pedis! We stayed up all night in the family room with a fireplace and lots of sofas and chairs. They gave us some neat surprises to take home. At the spa party they gave us each a pair of monogrammed flip-flops and at the pajama party we got black-satin sleep masks that said “Dream” on them. Too bad we didn’t sleep. They had these cards called Girls’ Night Out Conversation Cards that asked questions like “What defines the perfect kiss?” Pretty funny. We also talked about the wedding and her fiance’ and their plans for the future. I asked Julie where she found such great stuff for the party, and she said she got most of it online at favoraffair.com.  That’s the only link I have to give you, but I would highly recommend it.  And yes, this was the best bachelorette party I’ve ever been to.

        • I wish I was there!! This sounds like the ultimate party, great food, great party ideas and my favorite, awesome party favors. Favoraffair s one of my favorite party favor sites!! Sounds like you ladies had a blast!
