• Milk & Cookies Theme- First Birthday Party

    • This first birthday party is brought to you by Dianne of Colorblind Productions

Personalized photo invitations were made in honor of the party. The front showed Nilsa in various pictures eating COOKIES! The back side provided the details of the party as well as a grouping of pictures that showed her growth over the last year. Thank you notes were made using a picture of the birthday girl and her brother. The notes were made into postcards for simplicity with the picture on one side and a thank you on the opposite side.

The color scheme was yellow, brown and white. Polka dots helped highlighted the milk and cookies that abounded. Even the birthday girl was in polka dots. A full scale tiled mural aFotomural.com of Nilsa was used as decoration. Individual "lollypop" style descriptions of the food available were places so guests knew what the culinary treasures were. A custom banner highlighting the round polkadots was strung up.

Favors were individual sized FRESH milk from Ronny Brook Farms in both whole and chocolate along with brown bags of cookies.

Centerpieces were individual jars of chocolate, oatmeal and sugar cookies and each was surrounded by photo boxes made of assorted pictures of the birthday girl's first year of life and those part of it. Jars were put on brown polka centerpiece squares made by combining large place mats

A safe zone with toys was set up for those non walking children to play and roll around without worry of being stampeded by older children. It also allowed the parents of said children to put their kids down and mingle with guests without too much preoccupation.
