Preakness Party
Celebrate the annual Preakness Race with a full Maryland theme. Make sure the menu includes Maryland staples such as crab (like warm crab dip), chicken (many possibilities here) and of course our state dessert Smith Island Cake.
The decor should consist of a horse race theme, with subtle Maryland undertones. Include our state flower (the Black Eyed Susan) as well as yellow and black accents to pull it all together.
Another must have for a Preakness Party is full view of a television for all of your attendees! Make sure you don’t have too many attendees, or rent an additional television for the event!
