     Parties are a process to be completed, but dont feel that you have to complete it on your own or even on time. Here’s a sure fire way to get things done and get your guest interacting with each other.

     DON’T COMPLETELY COMPLETE EVERY TASK.

     Instead do only about 80-90% of each task. Guest always stagge into a party and most of time that pretty boring for the guest. They don’t really want to be sitting around waiting for everyone else to show up. Instead, put ‘em to work. Have them set up the lastof the hangings, chop the last ingredients for the dip, assist with the centerpeices, place candles and accessories.

     this will allow you to relax, and your early or right-on-time guests to mingle and create an atmosphere of comfort and interaction for the rest of the night.

     try it a couple times. You’ll be surprised what type of relationships you’ll help your friends build with each other and how it will help you to evolve as a resourcesful Host/Hostess.
