Depression Mishmeshion- Lets Party!
-
- by : BizGirl - May 20th, 2008
With all this talk on the news about recession and depression, I wonder how many people abstain from hosting social gatherings. I’m sure there are many excuses. Some excuses include “I don’t have the money”, “I can’t afford to make my house look nice”, “I spend all my time trying to make ends meet”, “What if my guests expect something better than what I’m able to do” and the lists goes on.
Over the next couple of weeks, I’m going to start a series called “Parties for Pennies”. All of the parties in the series can be accomplished for $50 or less, ranging in preparation time, and for 4-8 guests.
Please note that the ideas in “Parties for Pennies” are good for last minute informal gatherings. Momentous events require professional help. Let’s face it, if your event is a potluck corporate event, the guest may not attend.
So I look forward to sharing some ideas with you and helping you celebrate more often. Oh and if you have any ideas regarding this series, I’d be happy to share.
All the best,
Sally Strebel-

- This is a very overdue post considering the party was a while ago and LeeAnn is coming home in a couple weeks. It feels like it was just yesterday. I'm very excited to see her again....
