Cotton Club Theme
For a traditional Cotton Club Theme party, wedding or any occasion, consider the venue. The venue will set the tone for an elaborate party. Color scheme, should be black and white. Invitation should envoke a timeless period from the 1930s. Allow guest to travel back in time, suggest guests come dressed in costume, ladies in flapper dresses and men in tuxedos or zoot suits.
Centerpieces: could include lots of white and black feathers, lots of rhinestones and sequins. Oversized martini glasses. Can also serve as favors. Food should be contemporary, American cuisine.
Dancing should include live entertainment, with singers performing songs of jazz greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn and Duke Ellington.
