Rubber Ducky, You're the ONE!- Baby's First Birthday!

[I] wanted to send along a baby's 1st birthday party I attended a couple weeks ago and took photos of.
It was hosted by my friend, Maria, for her son, Athan, and was at their house. Since Athan loves rubber ducks, she used that as a theme. She used an invite place called "& Everything Nice" and uploaded pictures from a photo shoot we did at her place a couple weeks before - see the invite here:

She bought over a dozen little rubber ducks at a dollar store and decorated her home with them. She used shallow glass bowls as little "ponds" and filled the bottom with those glass stones and put a little water in and put the ducks in on top of the water. It was so cute.

She also made little rubber duck chocolates to give out as favors. She ordered a cake topped with rubber ducks plus a little smashcake from Amphora Bakery in Vienna, Virginia and catered the party with Maggiano's Little Italy. It was delicious!

And she used a chocolate fountain she had gotten off of freecycle.com, which was a complete hit.
