      Traditional Pumpkin Pie

      Serves: 6 | Prep time: 10 minutes

      Ingredients

      • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shell
      • 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin
      • 2 eggs
      • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
      • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
      • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
      • 1/2 tsp salt
      • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened consensed milk

      Directions

      Preheat oven to 425° F. In large mixer bowl, combine all ingredients except pastry shell: mix well. Pour into pastry shell. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350° F: bake 35-40 minutes longer or until knife inserted one inch from edge comes out clean. Cool. Garnish as desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
