Pirate Birthday Party
My son will be turning 8 and is into pirates. So what better than to have a pirate themed birthday party. I rented a local community building for the event. I called my local appliance stores to get refrigerator boxes to use to build a ship. This ship will look good not only for the them but will be used for the kids to play in. I ordered swords, eye patches, telescopes, and pirate flags. I found on a web site—where they made hot dogs and took skewers and triangle cut pieces of cardstock to make them look like ships. I think I might try this idea.
