   • The Dream Birthday Party for teens

   • 

     If you want to throw the best party ever, read on.  Get a limo to pick you up from school on a Friday afternoon.  The limo would carry you and your closest friends from school to the party.  The party would be at a dj party house.  You would have to book a party room and dj ahead of time.  Other guests would join you at the party.  Let your guests suggest some songs to the dj, but have a playlist ready anyway. Dance, eat, play party games suggested by the dj.  Afterwards, take your closest friends to a hotel suite and sleepover for two nights.  You could go swimming, shopping, stay up all night long watching movies.  You would spend the rest of your weekend here.

        • i think this is what you should do if you were on a budget like i am. you get picked up by a limo that goes to your house with your closest friends. if you want to invite other friends then do so. the sleepover. you bring mattresses down and watch movies in the den or wherever you have a tv. for the party just put up lots of balloons and lights and find a friend to dj it. just the dinner and limo costs. that is what im doing

         • Great idea. I think we will use part of your idea to keep costs down.
           And for those who think it’s “too much”, simplify, take a few things out, use your imagination…IF you have one. Don’t be so quick to bash the idea.

         • If hotels and community centers are too expensive search Craigslist for business that are vacant.  I did this for my daughters 13th bday party and I got a 2000 square foot room for $250, WAY cheaper than what the hotels wanted for their ballrooms.  Plus I was able to have ANY caterer come in, and decorate it ANY way I wanted. Get creative and your budget will go far!  We are doing it again this year for her 16th with the same building and a better DJ.  Call around for DJ’s, there’s always someone trying to break into the business or someone that just loves to do it for fun.  Decorate with balloons, they are inexpensive and you can really do some great things with them!

         • The title is correct. It’s a DREAM party. Sadly, not many of us can afford such a luxary of limos, hotel rooms, that much shopping, djs, or rented rooms.
